Great match this morning as our little Owls comprising of a mixed team took on Airdale.
The game was played in great spirt and lots of smiles and enjoyment throughout all 4 games which is what it’s about at this age, both sets of parents and players were a credit to the clubs.
All our players rotated around and tried different positions, and took on different challenges during each game, every player adapted really well and they all gave 100% effort and enthusiasm throughout, the team work was exceptional and some of the goal celebrations were equally entertaining.
MOM - Harley, showed great positional awareness, speed, effort, and determination
We finished off with sone penalty’s and every kid showed some class, big shoutout to our GK Kyron who yet again made great saves in goals
It was a real fantastic showing from the squad today, the main thing is we are seeing progression, they are looking like a organised squad, who are improving week on week which is great to see considering the short space of time they have been together.
Thanks to the parents for giving up your time on a Saturday to ensure we get them plenty of match time for them.
Well done Zach on your first 2 goals in a match for the team, and big shout out to Franklin who again came so close to getting his first goal, I was praying it went in but again so close, a lovely lad who does nothing but smile all game and is showing big improvement every match, It will come buddy 🤞
