Owls 5 - Town 2
Today we had an away league game against Hemsworth Town and managed to bag another win. Owls took the lead and were dominant for most of the game, though at times Hemsworth pressed Owls and could have narrowed the scoreline. In the end though the number of chances created by Owls was too much for Hemsworth today.
The state of the pitch also played a factor today - it was smaller than what Owls are used to and this changed the gameplay. The pitch was also on a slope and dog mess everywhere. It does make you appreciate the facilities at Rodillians...
Well done to the whole team for getting on with the job and having a fun game.
