Owls U12 Vs Allerton
Wasn't the best start to the game with owls being caught straight from KO, early goal to Allerton. However, we've been working hard on not letting our heads drop down if we go behind. Boy did it show! Within no time the slick passing we've been working on in training made Allerton foul just on the outside of the goal. Up steps Jacob 💪 rockets into the top corner to make it 1-1. This gave owls the boost it needed, before we knew it Olly made it 2-1! Then the goals did start to come and before we knew it, it was 5-1 at half time.
Quick 5 minute break, and reminded the team to keep their heads on for the 2nd half.
Owls came out hot again, scoring another 2 goals to make it 7-1 to the owls. At this point we could see the team was getting a little tired going into the last 5 minutes, and let in 2 sloppy goals. However we did not let this dampen the spirits and with full time blown. We celebrated 7-3 to the mighty owls.
The player of the day goes to Jacob, but everyone of the kids could have had it today. All brilliant and amazing.
