U8s Girls vs. Glasshoughton

This morning saw Wakefield owls Girls under 8s make there competitive debut against Glasshoughton.

Our squad was : Poppy Amy Izzy Francesca Lena Essi Molly.

Played in 4 x 10 min quarters we started slow but grew into it as game went on. Molly Francesca Poppy and essi all did 10 mins in goal and all produced fine saves.

Essi was rock solid at the back with Molly and Francesca Amy and Poppy worked tirelessly

Our first goal came when our pocket rocket Izzy tucking home nicely after a mazey run

We grew in confidence and kept creating chances but unable to add other than an own goal.

I'm super proud of all 7 of you for listening and working hard throughout. Very proud coach
